PURPOSE OF POSITION: Plan and direct implementation, operation, and maintenance of clinical, clinical ancillary, hospital outpatient and medical practice, and patient management (revenue cycle) information systems for Cape Cod Healthcare. Participate in the ITS strategic planning process and develop tactical plans to deliver on ITS components of CCHC strategic objectives. Direct assigned projects, vendor evaluations and selections, feasibility studies, system implementations/upgrades and other activities related to supported information system applications and technologies. Works collaboratively with ITS leadership peers to ensure full collaboration and coordination amongst ITS groups. Seeks to leverage existing technology and identifies use cases for the adoption of new technologies and features.
