Duties/Responsibilities * Work on research projects with the data from VLT/MUSE, ALMA, XMM and Hubble * Assist Dr. Sun to mentor graduate and undergraduate students * Assist research grant proposals led by Dr. Sun to NASA and NSF Minimum Requirements: * Ph.D. * 18-21 months of full-time verifiable work experience. * Experience performing research in the optical IFU data (VLT/MUSE preferred). * Excellent communication skills. Desired Qualifications: * Experience performing research in sub-mm with ALMA observatory. * Experience performing research in X-Ray Astrophysics using data from the XMM-Newton observatory. * Experience assisting and mentoring Ph.D. students and undergraduate research students is preferred. * Experience writing research proposals is desired.
