Cost Estimator Location: Thornton, IL Duration: Temp to Perm, potentially direct perm hire Pay Rate: 120,000 -150,000/yearly The Senior Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating and conducting bid preparation of multiple small- to mid-sized concurrent heavy highway projects, including, but not limited to, asphalt, concrete, and earth work. The Senior Estimator maintains schedules and deadlines for their projects and works directly with customers to ensure complete understanding of the project plans. Job Responsibilities: Project estimating: Accurately perform all aspects of quantity take-off, estimating, cost control for job budget set-up and reporting, including the timely management of Change Management, fair and reasonable cost negotiations.
