NVERS supports a regional approach to coordinated preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery across jurisdiction and discipline boundaries during day-to-day emergencies and large-scale incidents. NVERS efforts focus on strategic planning, priority setting, information sharing, training, exercises, and equipment acquisition.
