Now, it's time we give the same meticulous attention to detail to our brand. The Singletons family has been part of the dairy farming community in and around Longridge for nearly 300 years, over this time we have built long-lasting relationships with our community and perfected our handcrafted artisanal cheeses. From a lean-to shed on a small dairy farm in Chipping, to being awarded the Queen's Award for Export, twice, we have grown our business to a global level, and we thought it was time our brand reflected that. Whilst we are still a family business with a deep-rooted heritage in the heart of Lancashire, our farming and customer community has grown, along with the variety of cheeses we are able to craft and source. As community is such an intrinsic value to our business, we have decided to include our farming community, our customer community and our wider local community in our brand by renaming ourselves Singletons and Co. With our rebrand we wanted to keep the fundamental elements of Grandma Singletons legacy, as it is a huge part of what has always discerned us and is in every fibre of our business, while creating a brand that can grow as the business does. We certainly did not want to lose any aspect of our rich heritage during the development of our brand, we wanted to celebrate it! Our heritage range has been redesigned, each handcrafted on our farm in Longridge using only locally supplied milk and techniques passed down through the generations. We wanted to incorporate the story of each cheese and individual craftsmanship in the packaging, so we have incorporated in each design the unique factor that makes our cheese special, be it the milk we use, the land we farm or an aspect of our local area. Our regional cheeses are all handcrafted in Longridge, using locally supplied milk. Whilst each regional cheese is named after the region of the British Isles it originates from, we wanted to include aspects of the region we originate from.
