Crestwood Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) - Harvest is conveniently located in Harvest Alabama.Like any hospital Emergency Department, a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) is open 24/7/365 and is equipped to treat patients with illnesses and injuries that require a higher level of care than urgent care facilities offer. With lab and radiology equipment, the FSED can treat a wide variety of serious illnesses and injuries including chest pain, severe allergic reaction, severe respiratory distress, broken bones, cuts requiring stitches, concussions, and other conditions. The facility is located on Highway 53 at Burwell Road in Harvest. The site was selected to improve accessibility and better serve the growing population. Schedule: Weekend Days, Fri-Sun 7A-7P Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, required. Registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Must maintain current certification/competencies

Overview: Under the direction of the Radiology Director, and a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Operates X-Ray Equipment to make quality Images/radiographs of designated body parts. Responsibilities include knowledge of all Imaging procedures. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required, or set forth.
