Im Carrie Isaac, and in 2008 (when nine months pregnant with our third of five children I blame nesting hormones!), I started Springs Bargains on somewhat of a whim. Id been a bargain hunter for years, but the blogs I was reading were all tailored toward a national audience I wanted something that was giving me information about what was happening in Colorado Springs, so I decided to start one! I was also looking for a way to generate a part-time income while my husband transitioned from working for a local home builder to being a Realtor. Little did I know that God would grow this site little by little until it became a business of its own for several years! My goal is to help Colorado families including my own save on the things they have to buy and enable them to enjoy things they might not otherwise afford. In 2014, I downsized Springs Bargains slightly in order to focus more attention on my new position as Marketing Specialist for Jeremys (my husband) real estate business, doing an increased amount of marketing for our listings . Though parts of the blog have downsized over the years, Springs Bargains will continue to be a frequently-updated source for free and cheap local events, restaurant deals, sales for local retailers, and favorite things to do in our beautiful state of Colorado. Well share a bit of real estate information on Springs Bargains from time to time, but if you want to know more about the real estate side of what we do, please visit our website: Jeremy and Carrie Isaac / Circa Real Estate Group . Jeremy and I have five children that we homeschool. We both enjoy mountain biking and reading, and hope to someday finish our fixer-upper house in Black Forest!
