JOB/POSITION TITLE: Database Coordinator STATUS: Non-Exempt PRIMARY PURPOSE: Works to ensure our gifts and constituent records are entered accurately and timely. Ensures accuracy in the donor database system. Works with the Manager of Annual Giving to create and implement best practices for database integrity and protection of donor information. Reports To: Manager of Annual Giving ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS: Gift Processing - Responsible for daily gift processing while ensuring financial and biographical integrity of the database. Records and tracks charitable gifts including the processing of cash and check payments, recurring gifts, in-kind gifts, credit card/online charges, recording of gifts via bank transfer, accurate valuation and recording of stock gifts and bequests, and follow-through and recording and documenting of pledges. With the Manager of Annual Giving determines appropriate processing methods and special handling requirements regarding special fundraising initiatives
