The Safety Officer and Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety and training programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This role includes evaluating safety hazards, coordinating safety training, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in applying safety standards, regulations and procedures as it relates to manuals, audits, reports, checklists, etc. for a general contractor, subcontractor, or related engineering or environmental health and safety consulting firm. Experience with hazardous material remediation and asbestos abatement preferred.
