Develops and distributes educational materials including videos, guides, and posters. Provides expertise and advice to management on complex and critical safety concerns. Tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents. Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. May coordinate the work of other safety reps. May have responsibility for all safety/environment programs at a small company or a region at larger companies.
