Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist monitors activities relating to standards of conduct and ethical relationships. Assesses, prioritizes and manages legal and regulatory compliance risks based on Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements. Being a Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist participates in the implementation of the corporation's comprehensive ethics and compliance program throughout the organization. Assures honest, candid, and timely responses from the appropriate management personnel are provided for "helpline" inquiries. Additionally, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist monitors allegations of unethical activity, including violations of Sarbanes Oxley, through evaluation of risk and identification of solutions. Ensures that a thorough investigation is conducted of alleged violations of the Code, laws, or regulations pertaining to the business. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
