Cost Engineer V - Construction provides estimates, cost control strategies, cost forecasting, investment appraisals, and risk analysis for construction projects. Administers quantity takeoffs so that appropriate costs and values can be determined. Being a Cost Engineer V - Construction has a broad knowledge of construction processes and materials. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Cost Engineer V - Construction typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Cost Engineer V - Construction works autonomously.
