Floor Assembly Supervisor III supervises and coordinates employees who assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work product. Being a Floor Assembly Supervisor III ensures conformance to established procedures and product quality levels. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and supervise repairs as necessary. Additionally, Floor Assembly Supervisor III may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
