Requirements and Responsibilities

Group Branch Director oversees a retail branch network's financial and service performance for a geographic area. Establishes the strategy, goals, and performance levels required to meet the organizational objectives for the region. Being a Group Branch Director monitors and analyzes financial and customer metrics to understand needs, identify issues, and target the proper resources needed to achieve goals for each branch in the network. Supports a relationship-building sales culture and standards for exceptional customer service using coaching, training, and incentives. Additionally, Group Branch Director collaborates with other functions of the bank to provide customers seamless support for product and service needs. Represents the bank at civic activities to promote visibility and positive presence in the community. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Group Branch Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Group Branch Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
