Hazardous Waste Technician III implements procedures for collecting and disposing hazardous or contaminated materials per governmental regulations. Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) to safely handle and process hazardous materials. Being a Hazardous Waste Technician III assists with inspections, audits, and training. Responds to accidents and incidents. Additionally, Hazardous Waste Technician III logs activities in appropriate systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Hazardous Waste Technician III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
