Requirements and Responsibilities

Inside Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services. Coordinates with field sales team members to ensure goals are met. Being an Inside Sales Representative provides support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Inside Sales Representative typically reports to Supervisor or Manager. The Inside Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an Inside Sales Representative typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
