Requirements and Responsibilities

Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. To be an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
