IT Account Manager establishes and maintains business relationships with internal and external customers. Develops IT projects to meet the business needs of the customers. Being an IT Account Manager ensures that IT initiatives are met in a timely manner and within a prescribed budget. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, IT Account Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. To be an IT Account Manager typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
