Requirements and Responsibilities

Loss Control Representative, Sr. provides loss control assistance to agents and supports insured clients within an assigned territory. Evaluates, develops, and implements mitigation recommendations; reports hazards found. Being a Loss Control Representative, Sr. creates and implements safety programs and performs accident investigations. Prevents injury by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards with insured accounts of moderate complexity and exposure. Additionally, Loss Control Representative, Sr. complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Loss Control Representative, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be a Loss Control Representative, Sr. typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
