Maintenance Planner, Sr.

Maintenance Planner, Sr. schedules complex maintenance programs and processes for an assigned plant or production facility to minimize impact on production. Evaluates the need for replacement parts and places orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. schedules maintenance staff. Plans for interruptions in work and develops backup plans. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a plant manager. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Maintenance Planner, Sr. typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
