Requirements and Responsibilities
Mathematician solves scientific and engineering problems. Applies mathematical theories to new areas of scientific investigation. Being a Mathematician develops and tests formulas to distribute to engineers for use. Provides mathematical support to engineering and/or product teams. Additionally, Mathematician requires a bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Mathematician occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Mathematician typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
