Requirements and Responsibilities

Office Services Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the office services team. Delivers office services such as document processing and retention, mail and messenger, office equipment, purchasing, and facilities maintenance that meet the needs of the of the organization. Being an Office Services Supervisor schedules work and projects, reviews work performed, and tracks utilization. Suggests improvements or additions to services or processes. Additionally, Office Services Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Office Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Office Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
