Requirements and Responsibilities

Product/Brand Management Director directs and oversees all aspects of product life cycle management and brand management including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field. Responsible for managing the strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing in order to gain maximum benefit from each product. Being a Product/Brand Management Director oversees the development and reconfiguration of brand and product management strategies within an organization. Ensures product and brand initiatives support the organization's public image. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Product/Brand Management Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Product/Brand Management Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
