Product Engineer II is responsible for designing and developing a product/product family. Ensures production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel. Being a Product Engineer II tests finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Product Engineer II typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Product Engineer II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
