Project Engineer I - Construction provides technical support to construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager. Reviews design and bidding documents, evaluates contractor bids, and oversees construction progress and scheduling. Being a Project Engineer I - Construction reviews plans and other technical documents, answers questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project, and monitors costs and project progress. May assist in the development of cost estimates. Additionally, Project Engineer I - Construction requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
