Requirements and Responsibilities

Recruiting Supervisor II supervises the activities of the employment department. Oversees a company's recruiting programs, policies, and procedures to develop and utilize various sources of potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Being a Recruiting Supervisor II reviews and approves content and placement of job postings in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or online media. Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Additionally, Recruiting Supervisor II, a level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Recruiting Supervisor II supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. To be a Recruiting Supervisor II typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
