Rental Sales Representative promotes equipment or vehicle rental activity with existing and new customers through active field and telephone solicitation. Coordinates rentals with account managers. Being a Rental Sales Representative may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rental Sales Representative works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Rental Sales Representative typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may need 2 years experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
