Requirements and Responsibilities

Reporter I researches a variety of news stories through interviews, observation, and library and/or online resources. Determines tone and intended audience of story. Being a Reporter I investigates and writes a variety of simple news stories. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Reporter I typically reports to a supervisor. The Reporter I works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Reporter I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
