Residential Care Facility Cook prepares a wide variety of menu items for residents and visitors in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Prepares and portions foods according to established recipes. Being a Residential Care Facility Cook provides food for special dietary needs as needed. Ensures compliance with food safety regulations. Additionally, Residential Care Facility Cook may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Residential Care Facility Cook works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
