Requirements and Responsibilities

Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Evaluates treatment procedures to ensure attainment of objectives and goals regarding rehabilitation from drug/alcohol dependency. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) works with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Complies with federal, state, and local license requirements to maintain quality standards.
