Requirements and Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analyst II gathers and analyzes data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization's supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain by analyzing costs, capacity, and demand patterns. Being a Supply Chain Analyst II continuously reviews the movement of materials and other supply chain processes to identify sources of problems and to develop suggestions for solutions. Prepares reports or dashboards to provide reliable activity data to stakeholders. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst II monitors suppliers for contract compliance. May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Supply Chain Analyst II typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
