Requirements and Responsibilities

Terminal Operations Specialist III assists in the operations of a storage/distribution terminal (bulk, package, or both) associated with a plant. Performs loading, unloading, and monitoring activities. Being a Terminal Operations Specialist III maintains terminal property and equipment. Complies with all required safety policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure secure and safe operations. Additionally, Terminal Operations Specialist III prepares records and reports related to shipments and inventory. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Terminal Operations Specialist III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Terminal Operations Specialist III typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may need 2 years experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
