Requirements and Responsibilities

Vendor Quality Control Analyst I evaluates vendors' operations and products for compliance with company quality standards. Identifies and resolves vendor quality issues. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst I assesses potential new vendors and proposed vendor changes. Generates and reviews vendor quality control plans, audits, metrics, testing, and specifications. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst I drives vendor performance improvement initiatives. Prepares reports on assessment activities, findings, and outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst I work is closely managed.
