Requirements and Responsibilities

Vendor Quality Control Analyst III evaluates vendors' operations and products for compliance with company quality standards. Identifies and resolves vendor quality issues. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst III assesses potential new vendors and proposed vendor changes. Generates and reviews vendor quality control plans, audits, metrics, testing, and specifications. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst III drives vendor performance improvement initiatives. Prepares reports on assessment activities, findings, and outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Vendor Quality Control Analyst III typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
