Description of Position
Northeastern State University invites applications for part-time faculty in the Occupational Therapy Program at the Muskogee, Oklahoma, campus. The program is 100% face-to-face and will require travel to campus at least one day/week.
Responsibilities
Teach
and contribute to courses as needed
Develop course syllabus and teaching materials
Maintain knowledge of the profession, healthcare, and content areas of teaching
assignments
Advise and meet with potential students
Attend faculty and other meetings upon request
Participate in and be familiar with learning content delivery methods used
within the university and program
Experience
A
minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Education Requirements
Minimum
of a master’s degree in occupational therapy required
Possession of or eligibility for OT License in Oklahoma
Certification through the
National Board on the Certification of Occupational Therapists
Transcript: copy of highest degree earned. The chosen candidate will have to provide an official transcript of the highest degree earned.
