Position purpose/ Job Summary:
Academic coach have roles in the First Year Success Institute and the Academic Success Center (ASC). Academic coaches working full time are responsible for FYSI cohort groups. In their FYSI responsibilities they serve as a resource and assist students with information related to the FYSI program, University Policy and processes. They also aid students in making cross campus connections that aid in success. In their academic success role, they are responsible for supporting and advising students on academic probation and engaging them in activities that will help return the student good academic standing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, 2-3 years of experience in higher education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Forms and Google software, Ability to learn new software programs, self-starter mentality with the ability to work in teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in student affairs or higher education administration. One or more years of experience in academic support services.
