We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing transportation and participating in recreational activities. The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide transportation to appointments and other activities as needed
Participate in recreational activities with clients, including outings and community events
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate team members
Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a direct support professional or in a similar role
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
