We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as the Student Support Coordinator for the AgTEC pathway. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing comprehensive guidance and support throughout their academic journey. Your responsibilities will include offering information and resources regarding academic programs, course requirements, and potential career pathways within the AgTEC fields, as well as assisting students in accessing support services such as tutoring, academic workshops, and counseling as needed. You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing outreach strategies to recruit and retain students interested in the AgTEC pathway, engaging in activities such as high school visits, community events, and partnerships with local organizations.
As the Student Services Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to participate in outreach events such as career fairs, industry conferences, and campus tours, showcasing the benefits of pursuing a career in the agricultural, technological, engineering, and computing fields. Additionally, you will coordinate and organize program activities and events, collaborate with marketing and communications teams to raise awareness of AgTEC programs and opportunities, and assist in developing new initiatives to increase student engagement and success within the pathway. Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred for this position, ensuring effective communication with our diverse student population.
