Job Summary:

The Account Management Manager is responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains effective relationships with key decision makers of an assigned group of customer accounts. This role assists with the development of the strategic design and implementation of processes to ensure retention and customer service goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates strong business knowledge, leadership, and general management skills to train, mentor and support the development of account managers
• Takes an integrated approach to ensure initiatives align to the Company’s growth and profit goals
• Assists with the development of strategic and operational parameters for collaborative efforts across functional boundaries
• Provides escalation support for the account managers on issues of service and renewals
• Builds and maintains customer relationships with strategic accounts of high complexity and impact
• Facilitates partner growth by identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities
• Maintains existing partner relationships through onboarding and ongoing support
• Conducts strategic meetings with customers to understand needs and link to the organization’s products
• Engages appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation
• Identifies and supports development and enhancements of standard operating procedures for service continuity

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 or more years of related experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team environment
• Strong project management skills including developing work plans, estimating and managing resources, time, and budget
• Demonstrated track record in managing accounts and relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication and skills for communicating at all levels
• Strong consultative, customer focused skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced ability to influence
