Account Manager develops relationships with smaller to mid-sized clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Manager drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Manager maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. May support higher-level account managers working with larger accounts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Manager work is closely managed.   • What does an Account  Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?In this role, an Account Manager is responsible for representing Swire Coca-Cola USA as a professional salesperson to all assigned existing and prospective accounts. The Account Manager promotes growth and development of Coca-Cola and its allied products, executes promotional activity and ensures that accounts are merchandised in accordance with Swire standards.      Responsibilities:    Promote the growth and development of Coca-Cola and its allied products by building trust with customers, execute promotional activities and ensure that accounts are merchandised in accordance with company standards and the store Customer Marketing Agreement (CMA).    Interact and build rapport with decision maker in each customer location. Place order of product to be delivered maintain sufficient inventory levels for consumers purchase  Manage and fill customer beverage section, build displays, fill coolers and all points of availability, ensure they are properly stocked, maintain and rotate per company standard  Supervise merchandisers and collaborate with bulk delivery driver to ensure that accounts are stocked and displays built in alignment with company standards and store management  Maintain back room stock areas in a safely accessible stack formation within the assigned storage area. Write up credits and confirm the credits are ready for pick up by bulk driver     Requirements:   High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred Successful track record of building strong business relationships within the marketplace  Understanding of promotional activities, product lines, and competitive positioning   Must be able to operate Excel, Outlook, and a PDF reader on an iPhone and iPad devices   Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements (Valid driver's license and clean/current MVR)  Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
