As the Accounting Client Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting comprehensive bookkeeping and services for a Bookkeeping & Tax company. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude about improving processes and strong attention to detail, and be extremely passionate and empathetic to our clients and staff. The ideal candidate should be able to work during normal working hours, but can also work flexible hours as needed.

This role will start at 8 to 15 hours/week, with the goal for an on an ongoing basis. Firm requirement to attend weekly business networking meeting..

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Client Services

• Meet with and establish/maintain business network relationship, with attending a weekly meeting (virtual and/or in-person)
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and business network via email, addressing inquiries and fostering strong relationships.
• Perfect the art of smoothly onboarding new clients, ensuring a stellar service experience.
  
  

Accounting & Reporting

• Support the month-end close process
• Direct and refine general accounting processes, including workflow enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support audit and finance issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery
  
  

Management & Collaboration

• Provide leadership and strengthen internal communications with bookkeepers at all levels throughout the organization, both onshore and off
• Promote a positive and supportive work environment
• Perform other ad-hoc projects as required
  
  

Qualifications, Knowledge Skill Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or path to CPA huge plus
• At least 3-4 years of operational accounting experience with full close-cycle accounting.
• QuickBooks Online experience
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, a plus
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills required
• A passion for supporting new, small businesses/start-up companies, learning and driving process improvements
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to communication.
• Expertise working in technology, e-commerce, professional services, SaaS a plus
