Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Looking for a staff accountant with experience in Individual and Corporate tax returns along with sales tax and payroll. The office uses Drake Tax Software. The candidate will be willing to grow with the firm long term. At least an associates degree in accounting and proficient use of Quickbooks desktop and online is required. Ideal candidate needs to be detail oriented, team player, ability to multi-task and assist with the day to day operations of the business (answer phones, call clients, meet with clients). This is not a remote position. Hours will be 50 hours per week during tax season and 40 hours per week outside of tax season.
