Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Being an Accountant compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Position Summary: This position will prepare and maintain monthly financial journal entries to produce financial statements. Responsible for reconciling all bank accounts monthly. Annual reporting of financials into NTD system. Ensures reports are accurate and timely. Conduct annual maintenance inventory. Assist Finance Director and Finance team members and Administrative Staff as required.

Valid driver's license in the State of Montana or an acceptable means of alternate transportation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work occurs typically in an office with frequent (51-80%) use of a computer, telephone, and other office equipment; the noise level is typical of an office environment. Work is also performed in a classroom environment and, infrequently, in shop-floor locations with the various noise levels associated with those locations.
The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear; use repetitive hand motions; handle or feel; and stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, or lift up to five pounds regularly. Infrequently, moving materials weighing
up to 25 pounds may be required.
Hourly wages DOE $32.01/hour - $34.41/hour.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general supervision of the Manager of Finance.
