Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, performing general ledger reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial management, and financial analysis. Duties: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) - Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and reporting - Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures - Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred - Proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial management - Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools - Familiarity with Wills Trusts Estate Law is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
