Accounting Clerk jobs in Altus, OK

Wilbarger General Hospital, Vernon, TX has an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate as an Accounting Clerk.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to Accounting Department personnel. Maintains accounting document files, including daily work, monthly reconciliations, all payroll duties, and physician office rental billing. Assists accounting personnel as requested.

Job Qualifications:

A. Education: Associate degree in accounting, or equivalent experience.

B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Outlook. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Ability to work well in fast-paced office environment. Good oral and written communication skills.

C. Licensure, Registry or Certification: None required.

E. Experience:

1. Prior work experience: Three years accounting experience preferred.

2. Technical Training: None.

E. Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require extended periods of sitting. Occasional periods of standing and walking. Basically, a sedentary position.
