Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Accounting Clerk role is focused on assisting the Accounting/Finance Team with the overall fiscal management of Greenleaf Hospitality Group properties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greenleaf Hospitality Group Cashier Duties:
  • Managing Petty Cash
  • Managing Housebank
  • Reconciling deposits match actual
  • Managing intercompany transfers and exchanges
  • Recording cash journal entries
  • ATM Cash Management
  • Reverse ATM Maintenance
  • Manage company credit card program
• Assist AR & AP staff members where needed
• Assist with intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliations
• Assist with daily revenue reporting
• Support accounting team with month-end closing processes
• Support accounting team with Square, Silverware, Opera, and Etix inputs and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

• You have strong attention to detail and accuracy, commitment to customer service
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, are very organized and detail-oriented, thrive on process improvement
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and work together as an integral part of the team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite; experience with Jonas software system a plus
• Emphasis on confidentiality
• Customer service skills
• Able to lift 25lbs. occasionally
