Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Duties:
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
-Files Sales Tax Licenses.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting databases.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and assist with audits when necessary.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices and account reconciliation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
