As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Duties:
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
-Files Sales Tax Licenses.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting databases.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and assist with audits when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices and account reconciliation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
