Are you just now getting your groove back after tax season and looking for a different kind of tax season next year? Want a remote opportunity? Join us - stay remote and regain some tax season balance!
We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented financial expert with strong tech skills to be our firm's next Small Business CPA or EA. Are you capable of providing accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax strategy, and advisory services with a strong focus on getting accurate information to customers? Do you love helping small business owners understand their numbers? Are you a team player that jumps in to help team members when they need a hand? You might be the perfect candidate for this position!
We need an enthusiastic, small business accounting specialist who can handle clients’ accounting needs, from basic bookkeeping to complex accounting issues for clients across a variety of industries. You’ll also get to complete some clean-up projects in QBO for sometimes messy clients and help determine the right monthly tasks that need to be completed each month to keep the books in great shape going forward.
After the books are closed, you'll also get the opportunity to work directly with clients to understand their numbers and plan for their taxes. While we do a few tax returns at our firm, our tax season is not a crazy busy time for us and won’t be for you either. Our ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting OR significant equivalent experience, has at least 3 years of accounting experience in a small to mid-sized firm, is currently QBO certified, and is a CPA, CPA Candidate, or an Enrolled Agent.
Please note, this is a remote position. While we do have an office in Meridian, we mainly use that for occasional company meetings for employees in the Treasure Valley. Because of the nature of our business, you will need to have dedicated home office space where you can work uninterrupted and keep client data confidential.
