We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring accurate and timely financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

```Responsibilities:```

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis

- Prepare and enter journal entries into the general ledger

- Assist with payroll processing, including reviewing timesheets and calculating wages

- Assist with tax preparation and filing

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Provide support for financial audits

```Skills:```

- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial concepts

- Proficiency in math and ability to perform calculations accurately

- Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations

- Familiarity with tax laws and regulations

- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis

- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
