Job Summary:
The Manager is responsible for the supervision and control of the general accounting functions, including the general ledger, statistical accumulation, financial statements and financial report preparation for the company. They prepare and present analytics to senior management and act as the primary contact for internal and external customers. This position is a resource for the accounting team and the company to build a better understanding of financial reporting and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Accounting Manager has oversight of staff’s preparation and analysis of the operational and consolidated financial statements and various reports published on a regular and special request basis, managing the month-end close, assisting department manager’s with their budget preparation and reviews, analyzing journal entries and financial statement results to assure accuracy and completeness. This position will provide objective analysis and data driven insights, allowing business units and leadership to make fact-based decisions. You will have the chance to serve as a key contributor to a high-growth environment and strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical accounting.
